The Medicine of the Rose:
The rose has been a teacher for women for thousands of years. Rose medicine speaks directly to the heart—calming emotions, cooling inflammation, soothing anxiety, and nurturing our nervous systems back to a state of deep rest. She reminds us that beauty and healing are not separate, but dance together in perfect harmony. In Ayurvedic medicine, rose primarily balances 'sadhaka pitta', the subdosha of pitta that governs the emotions and how it impacts the heart. Ayurveda recognizes rose as having cooling and astringent properties, making it suitable for balancing all three doshas (vata, pitta, and kapha).

The Rose Medicine Rest Circle is a way to step away from the frenzied pace of daily life. It is an opportunity to slow down, rest in community and to receive joy.
