About This Event

LiveStreamed - Chair Yoga Class

Chair Yoga offers us all the huge benefits that come from gently stretching, opening up and closing the body, synchronizing these movements with our breath, all practised from a stable chair.

It can enhance everyone's yoga practice, and should not be seen as just for those with physical ability issues, stability limitations, seniors, or those recovering from an injury or illness.

Many office and home based workers, desk bound for hours a day, will really benefit from these classes.

Alongside the focus on the physical yoga postures and their alignment, we also look to tap into a more mindful state, to cultivate inner relaxation, lowering stress through yogic breathing.

Classes Suitable For:

All levels of yoga practitioners, from recent beginners through to seasoned yogis.

Style is Chair based Yoga, incorporating elements of Hatha, Ashtanga and Iyengar Yoga.

Takeaways Over Time:

Muscle and joint stretching, bone strengthening.
